I recommend trying to find a bike rack with a long enough shank to clear your spare tire. To find out how much clearance you need, take a tape measure and find the distance from the center of the pin hole on your hitch to a point past your spare tire. There is no adapter to go from a European 7-Way to a US style 6-Way. You will either have to convert the connector on the vehicle or the one on the trailer. It all depends on what works best for you.

The great thing about weight distribution systems is that the weight of them does not get considered as additional tongue weight. Our manufacturers have fielded this question from us several times and their stance is that the WD system essentially becomes part of the hitch so you would not consider it's weight as additional tongue weight.
